You know that moment in the afternoon when you think maybe you're hungry, possibly because you're slightly bored or tired, and you need to shake things up a bit? Here's my favorite, brain-boosting snack for those very moments. You'll get antioxidants and vitamins from the pepper, healthy fats from the avocado and tahini, and a little salt and spice to wake up your taste buds! And yes, it's as simple as it looks.
1) Take a red/yellow/orange pepper and cut it into fat slices, removing stem and seeds.
2) Apply 1/2 tablespoon of raw tahini to each slice.
3) Add a slice of avocado.
4) Sprinkle sea salt and a touch of cayenne on each, or a spicy salt if you have one.
5) EAT. THEM. ALL. UP.
