Are your skincare products safe to use during all stages of pregnancy?

Most Osmia Skincare products are safe for use during pregnancy. Our pregnancy collection contains some great options, some scented with essential oils and some with no added scent. We don't recommend using our Rosemary Scalp Oil or our Spotless Blemish Oil during pregnancy, as they contain essential oils that are not recommended for use during pregnancy.

Are your products suitable for sensitive or hormonal skin during pregnancy?

Yes! If your skin is feeling extremely sensitive, you may want to use products from the Osmia Skincare unscented collection during pregnancy. Our Black Clay Facial Soap is excellent for hormonal breakouts, which are very common during pregnancy. And our body mousses can help relieve itching as your pregnant belly starts to grow!

What ingredients should I avoid in skincare during pregnancy, and are your products free from them?

Ingredients like parabens, phthalates, ethoxylated ingredients, synthetic fragrance, and synthetic colors (none of which are in Osmia products) have all been linked to various health concerns, and should be avoided during pregnancy and beyond.
