Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can natural exfoliants be used daily?

    Some natural exfoliants can be used daily, like our Lavender Pine Body Soap or our Exfo Body Soap. Our Pumpkin Facial Soap and Black Clay Facial Soap can also be used daily, and have very gentle exfoliating qualities. Our konjac sponge can also be used daily. More intense exfoliants like our Detox Exfoliating Mask or Himalayan Body Buff should be used more sparingly, like 1-2 times per week, in order to avoid overexfoliation.

  • Can your natural exfoliant be used on both face and body?

    We have both face exfoliants and body exfoliants, and we do not recommend using body exfoliants on the face. Your facial skin is much thinner and more delicate than your body, so we formulate our natural exfoliants differently for body and for face.

  • What are the benefits of using a natural exfoliant?

    Using a natural exfoliant can help keep your skin smooth and soft when used at the right frequency. Our natural exfoliants do not contain microbeads or plastics, and use only gentle ingredients from natural like pumpkin, clay, ground walnuts, olive leaf powder, and salt. When using an exfoliant, you can increase the level of absorption of skincare ingredients, so it's especially important to use healthy ingredients when you are exfoliating!
