FAQs

What makes Lip Doctor different than other lip balms?

Osmia Lip Doctor is one of very few lip products on the market made without castor oil (ricinoleic acid), a common lip allergen. It is also made without essential oils.

Does Lip Doctor contain sunscreen?

Lip Doctor does not contain any sunscreen ingredients. Some of the natural oils used offer a low degree of sun protection, but for prolonged exposure, a product with zinc or titanium would be preferable.

My Lip Doctor is a bit grainy—is it still safe to use?

Yes, natural butters like cocoa butter can develop a slightly grainy texture when exposed to temperature fluctuations. The product is still completely safe to use, and as effective as ever.
