A toner is usually the middle step in your routine. After cleansing, you apply your toner while your skin is still damp (spray directly on your skin, or apply with a cotton round), and follow it quickly with your favorite moisturizer or facial oil. The toner hydrates your skin, and topping it with a cream or an oil helps your skin retain that moisture. Our Purely Calm Gel Toner is a fan-favorite, and we hope to have it back in stock by late summer or early fall 2022. Aren’t supply chain issues fun??
While our toner remains out of stock, how about making one of these at home? You’ll need a clean glass or aluminum bottle, and one of the recipes below!

For dry skin:

For normal to acne-prone skin:
What about witch hazel, you say? If you can find witch hazel hydrosol, use it to make a lovely toner! But most witch hazel on the market is high in alcohol, which is why we didn’t use it in any of our recipes. Alcohol-based toners are drying to most skin types, so we’ll stick with aloe and tea!
